दूसरा बनवास

9

Spring knows...

3

The Spring knows to wait its’turn
To sparkle after the winter dread
And burst forth with life anew
Reviving nature long since dead

First she’ll bring forth the flowers
Then she’ll awaken blades of grass
As she slowly increases the hours
A gift to man and all living things

She’ll impart a fragrance so inviting
As flowers bloom by her hand
The fragrant smell of the springtime
Spreading quickly through the land

Birds soaring across the sky
Echoing such a pleasant tune
With Spring as their conductor
Flying underneath the moon

For Spring knows she must finish
and complete the task of natures birth
Giving the task over to summer
To refine and prune the entire earth

I am...

11

I am white, I am black,
I will never stab you in the back.
I am red, I am yellow,
I am a rather kind fellow.
I am orange, I am pink,
I am every color you can think.
I am purple, I am gold,
I am young, I am old,
and I only sometimes do as I am told.
I am blue, I am green,
I can even be mean.
I am a girl, I am boy,
but I am nobody's toy.
I am mild, I am wild,
I am so much more than just a child.
I am me, you are you,
there is so much that I can do.
I will succeed, I will lead,
I will someday find my mead.
I am fair, I am rare,
I will always care, I am hard to scare,
and I will never back down from a dare.
I am average, I am savage,
I will always manage.
I am royal, I am loyal,
I am one that you can never foil.
For, after all,
this is who I am

Another life exists...

0

In this modern world full of technology
Aren’t we forgetting someone?
to whom we now need to express all our thanks and apology..
Without whom all this wouldn’t go possible..
Instead, everything would be horrible..
We really need to think
Before it is too late and we all sink..
We need to think about-
About the trees that breathe
and sway with the cool breeze..
about the birds those chirp around
and move through the sky round and round
about the snake that hisses
and the white,-like thing which we call, wishes..
about the ant who bites us tight,
and the owl who stays awake all night.
about the river that gushes down the mountain,
and the blue whale which suddenly creates the fountain..
about the rat that scares the ladies the most,
and the plant which for microbes acts like host
about the lady bird whose even smaller than a girl,
and the black deer whose fur is quite curl..
There is another world called nature,
here’s where another life exists
in both huge and miniature
but are we aware of it??
lets not be selfish and become aware,
and strive to make the future fair,
humans are nt only to exist..
harming them isnt a film which would go hit,
but flop..and the business would go down indeed!
so lets wake up now,
to rest our future
or try to sleep somehow
to risk our future.

BRILLIANT COMEBACK BY LADIES

0

There will hardly be any lady who has not encountered a man hitting upon her at sometime in her life. The situation can get tricky for the lady, especially if the she is not interested in the guy. Having a sense of humor or the ability to come up with repartee helps getting quickly on top of the situation as the ladies in the following examples prove:

Man: "Haven't we met before?"
Woman: "Yes, I'm the receptionist at the VD Clinic."

Man: "Haven't I seen you some place before?
Woman: "Yeah, that's why I don't go there any more."

Man: "Is this seat empty?"
Woman: "Yes, and this one will be too if you sit down."

Man: "So, wanna go back to my place?"
Woman: "Well, I don't know. Will two people fit under a rock?"

Man: "Your place or mine?"
Woman: "Both. You go to yours and I'll go to mine."

Man: "I'd like to call you. What's your number?"
Woman: "It's in the phone book."
Man: "But I don't know your name."
Woman: "That's in the phone book too."

Man: "So what do you do for a living?"
Woman: "I'm a female impersonator."

Man: "What sign were you born under?"
Woman: "No Parking."

Man: "Hey, baby, what's your sign?"
Woman: "Do not enter"

Man: "How do you like your eggs in the morning?"
Woman: "Unfertilised!"

Man: "Hey, come on, we're both here at this bar for the same reason"
Woman: "Yeah! Let's pick up some chicks!"

Man: "I'm here to fulfill your every sexual fantasy."
Woman: "You mean you've got both a donkey and a Great Dane?"

Man: "I know how to please a woman."
Woman: "Then please leave me alone."

Man: "I want to give myself to you."
Woman: "Sorry, I don't accept cheap gifts."

Man: "I can tell that you want me."
Woman: "Ohhhh. You're so right. I want you to leave."

Man: "If I could see you naked, I'd die happy:
Woman: "Yeah, but if I saw you naked, I'd probably die laughing."

Man: "Hey cutie, how 'bout you and I hitting the hot spots?"
Woman: "Sorry, I don't date outside my species."

Man: "Your body is like a temple."
Woman: "Sorry, there are no services today."

Man: "I'd go through anything for you."
Woman: "Good! Let's start with your bank account."

Man: "I would go to the end of the world for you.
Woman: "Yes, but would you stay there?

10 Child commandments to Parents

18

- My hands are small; please don’t expect perfection whenever I make a bed, draw a picture or throw ball. My legs are short; please slow down so that I can keep up with you.

- My eyes have not seen the world as yours have; please don’t expect me to see things the way you do.

- I’m only little for a short time, please take time to explain things to me about this wonderful world.

- Don’t scold me for my inquisitiveness. Treat me as you would like to be treated.

- I am a special gift from God; please treasure me as God intended you to do, disciplining me in a loving manner.

- I need your encouragement to grow. You can criticize the things I do without criticizing me.

- Permit me to fail, so that I can learn from my mistakes.

- Please don’t do things over for me. And please don’t compare me to my brother or sister.

- Please don’t afraid to leave for a weekend together. Kids need vacation from parents, just as parents needs vacation from kids.

- Please set a good example for me to follow. I enjoy learning.

The Sun

2

The glittering sun

With a wreath of clouds,

Peeps and shines in every house.

The glamorous sun in its glory rises,

And lustrously hues the world.

It glows with its glossy glimmer,

And sparkles in my room

With a sudden shimmer.

Like a blushing boy,

It hides behind the clouds,

And makes Nature

Obscure like a country mouse.

The laboring sun, toils and works,

And minimizes its radiance

With some exhaust.

With magical effects, the sun sets,

And delegates its work to the moon,

Nature falls into a slumber deep,

For,

To its weary nerves, the moon comes as a boon.

Free Birds

9

Alone in my room set,

Cherishing a portrait,

White-grey birds were they

Ample in numbers.

Quietly they set,

I wonder about their mood,

Gloomy? Angry? Joyful?

Frustrated were they I assumed

Caught in frame of a picture,

Still and tired.

I took out the photo

And let them fly,

Frozen smiles revived.

Wings fluttered

Necks turned.

From window they flew

With a thank you note,

But I could not say “welcome”.
